Sound identity

The Hôtel National des Arts et Métiers offers several dining concepts for both Parisians and international travelers.  We designed a bespoke radio station with a unique artistic approach by drawing inspiration from the work of designer Raphael Navot, whose talent for combining high quality natural materials and textures has been recognised at the Silencio Club.

A relaxed, fun atmosphere, “Like hanging out with friends at home.” · A relaxed, fun atmosphere, “Like hanging out with friends at home.” · A relaxed, fun atmosphere, “Like hanging out with friends at home.” ·

As an integral part of the DNA of the Hôtel National des Arts & Métiers, the ‘ristorante National’ run by Julien Cohen and Thomas Delafon, offers diners the exuberance and culinary delights of Italian fine dining.

Our artistic approach is unprecedented for a hotel: a ‘wild’ spirit nuanced by the warmth of soul and psych-folk nuggets from the 60s and 70s, then enhanced with cinematic inserts.

Thanks to their rich musical culture, Elsie Obadia and Patrick Vidal quickly understood our needs. The National’s private radio station has been very well thought through and designed. Their bespoke ‘arty’ changing programme enables us to harmonise the ambiance and anchor the notion of ‘diversity’ within our hotel.Compared with other solutions tested within our hotel, O+CO sound-design offers serious advantages in terms of creativity, reliability and responsiveness.
